Trust In Me

A glorious snake drapes itself over a branch, deliciously savoring each word.

"Are you alone out here? What are you doing so deep in the jungle? Don't you know what you are? I know what you are. I know where you came from. Poor, sweet, innocent cub. I'll keep you clossse. Let go of your fear now. And trussst in me."

Familiar story, right? Eve wanders away into the jungle, finds a snake that undermines her foundation and ruins her world forever. But this isn't actually from the story of Eden.

The quote above is an exact transcription of the new trailer for Disney's Jungle Book to be released in 2016.

Scary? It should be.

Funny how the same stories keep getting retold, and how get a little more flipped around every time...
